1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using AIccentCoach, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of service

AIccentCoach is an AI-powered pronunciation coaching platform that helps users improve their American English pronunciation through reading practice, conversation practice, and presentation coaching. The service uses artificial intelligence to analyze speech and provide feedback.

3. Account registration

• You must provide a valid email address to create an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must be at least 13 years old to use the service
• One account per person; accounts are non-transferable

4. Free and Pro plans

• Free plan: Limited number of practice sessions, conversations, and presentations per month
• Pro plan: Unlimited sessions at $9.99/month, billed monthly through Stripe
• You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time from your Account settings or through the Stripe billing portal
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period

5. Refund policy

Refunds may be issued at our discretion within 7 days of a charge. To request a refund, contact us at support@aiccentcoach.com. Refunds are processed through Stripe and may take 5–10 business days to appear on your statement.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or other users' accounts
• Submit harmful, abusive, or inappropriate content
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the service
• Use automated tools to scrape or access the service
• Resell or redistribute the service without authorization

7. AI-generated content

The pronunciation feedback and coaching provided by AIccentCoach is generated by artificial intelligence. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated feedback may contain errors. The service is intended as a learning aid and should not be considered professional speech therapy or medical advice.

8. Intellectual property

• The AIccentCoach platform, branding, and code are owned by us
• Practice passages generated by AI are provided for educational use only
• You retain ownership of any original content you submit (custom text, audio recordings)

9. Limitation of liability

AIccentCoach is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Account termination

You may delete your account at any time from your Account settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. Upon deletion, all your data is permanently removed as described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify you of material changes via email or a notice on the website.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States. For users in the European Union, mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence apply. For users in Brazil, the provisions of the Brazilian Consumer Defense Code (CDC) and LGPD apply where applicable.
